A tattoo artist with original work scattered across Instagram and nowhere that showed the range in an organised way. Visitors arrive wanting to answer two questions: does this artist do the style I want, and how do I get in touch.

The portfolio is the argument
The structure is split by style — colour, geek, cover-up — because that is how clients search. Cover-ups especially: someone who wants to cover an old tattoo needs to see another cover-up before trusting the artist.
Next.js and Tailwind because of the amount of imagery: Next's image component handles responsive sizes and lazy loading, which on a heavy gallery is the difference between the page opening and the visitor giving up.
